This is not a NASA video. It’s a fan-made video by Reid Gower, who wanted to illustrate how NASA could better-communicate their mission through social media: 

In all of their brilliance, NASA seems to have forgotten to share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to, leaving one of humanity’s grandest projects with terrible PR and massive funding cuts.

The series of videos, based on Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot, is targeted toward adults and would be great for older kids who might gravitate toward its messages. But this first one is pretty inspiring for all ages, if not through its words, then through its images.
