From above the water and below, see a fully grown, 52ft long, 44 ton male humpback whale breach in front of a snorkeler. The incredible moment was captured by Australian photographer Beau Pilgrim, who was filming off the coast of Vava’u, Tonga. He wrote on Facebook:

It was the most surreal and incredible experience last week in Tonga, being metres from this Humpack Whale when it breached and landed next to me. Such an amazing adrenaline rush!
