Smores + peaches. Smeaches! Slice one peach up into 6-8 pieces, and then get 6-8 marshmallows, some graham crackers, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and as an option: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Mix the cayenne and the sugar (or skip the cayenne), and coat the peaches with it. Skewer a peach slice and a marshmallow, then toast them over a flame until it’s melty but not burnt! Slide down onto a graham cracker and YAY EAT IT.
By the way, May/June through August is peach season. Full recipe here at The Kitchy Kitchen where there’s also a recipe for Smeaches Pie.
If you don’t have any peaches, experiment with apricots or nectarines!
