Located in the Andes Mountains between Bolivia’s capital, La Paz, and the highest major metropolis in the world, El Alto, the electric Mi Teleferico travels seven miles across 11 stations. Climbing 1,640 feet into the air, it’s designed to be an alternative to the heavy urban traffic in the streets below.
