Take a gander at the designs of these Victorian velocipedes, early styles of bicycles and other pedal-powered vehicles, over the course of around 70 years. This 1915 film from France, with explainer cards in Dutch, shows the different models from 1818 to the 1890s, including the high-wheeling penny farthing. Guy Jones uploaded the footage via EyeFilm.nl and added the song titled Who, played by “monarch of the ivories” Henry W. Lange.
