The Kid Should See This

FlightLapse #01 – MilkyWay, a time lapse view from the cockpit

On a flight from Zurich, Switzerland to Sao Paulo, Brazil, airline pilot and film producer Sales Wick captured a stunning flight time lapse view from the cockpit of a Boeing 777. FlightLapse #01 – MilkyWay begins over Spain’s Palma de Mallorca, and continues on over Algiers, the northwestern part of the Sahara desert, Dakar, and out across the Atlantic Ocean. Watch for shooting stars (meteors) along the journey.

Next: A 360 degree interactive cockpit view from an Airbus A320 and four-year-old Léa’s first aerobatic flight with her pilot father.

Plus: Dishdance and What happened to the Milky Way?
