How are rubber balls like basketballs made? In this How It’s Made video from the Science Channel, factory workers create an inflatable rubber bladder that’s shaped into a sphere. It’s coated with nylon thread and covered with another layer of rubber strips. The balls are then heated, branded, and decorated to look like traditional basketballs.
