Jetman Yves Rossy has been flying a version of his jetpack, one of 15 variations on a carbon fiber wing-suit system powered by four Jet-Cat P200 jet engines, since 2007. He’s flown over the Grand Canyon, over Rio de Janeiro, over the Alps, and near Mount Fuji.
In the 12 minute video above, available in 4K, he flies at speeds up to 125mph across the open desert with his protégé, skydiver and base jumper Vince Reffet. In the second half of the video, they fly together over the city of Dubai, buzzing the top of the city’s — and the world’s — tallest building: The Burj Khalifa.
