This stop-motion papercraft music video directed by Polish animation team Katarzyna Kijek and Przemysław Adamski is for the song Katachi by Japanese singer-songwriter Shugo Tokumaru.
The video is created with around “2000 silhouettes extracted from PVC plates using computer-controlled cutter.” As each layer was added, the camera pulled back to maintain the same distance throughout the animation.
The word ‘katachi’ means form, shape, or figure in Japanese.
