Episode 6 of James May’s Toy Stories is a great one: Watch as James May prepares to spend the night in a full-size LEGO-built house. It only takes the help of thousands of people and over three million LEGO bricks.
The really interesting part of this episode is how they figure out how the engineering behind making it structurally sound, test after test after test. They’re dealing with LEGO physics on an entirely new scale.
The entire episode is available on YouTube thanks to the Naked Science YouTube channel, a Pioneer Productions project. You can find a book about their projects on Amazon.com or via iTunes.
After watching this, I’m guessing any kid (or adult) will look at their LEGO pieces a bit differently.
