SOAR, an animated short by Alyce Tzue

Created as a 3D animated thesis project at the Academy of Art University, Soar (2015) by Alyce Tzue shares the story of a 13-year-old aviation enthusiast who helps a 5-inch-tall pilot get a fantastical flying ship back into the air before it’s too late.

Soar won a Student Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and has been screened at festivals around the globe.
