The Girl and the Cloud

Watch more with these video collections:

When Anna gets her very own snow cloud as a Christmas gift, it’s the perfect surprise. They grow to be the best of friends, and have lots of fun. But when the summer season comes, something changes. The cloud becomes unhappy in the warmer weather, and Anna must dedicate herself to finding a solution that can help her friend… a surprise gift she can give as the next holiday season arrives.

The charming short was born from the collaborative efforts of Dublin-based creative agency Boys & Girls, animation company Studio AKA, and client Three Ireland, who are dedicating the proceeds from the book version to UK children’s charity Barnardos.

Learn more about clouds: How did clouds get their names? Why do clouds stay up? Plus, more animated stories about giving: To Give a Present, Mother (어머니), and The Present.
