Prepare for some entertaining and adorable Tiny Goat Visits at the Oregon Zoo. Nigerian dwarf goat kid Ruth and mini Nubian goat kid Sonia go on a series of visits to other animals at the zoo, guided by zookeeper Brianne Zanella. They were named for Supreme Court justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor.
In the video above, they seem either curious or concerned about an African crested porcupine named Sharpie in their midst.
Below, Ruth and Sonia encounter some elephants, including a Borneo pygmy elephant named Chendra. The goats also find out what it’s like to walk in the sand. How would you feel, as a smaller than average goat, looking up at this creature for the very first time?
In the next video, Ruth and Sonia meet “the legendary Chupacabra…” or more accurately, they meet a herbivorous Patagonian mara named Chupacabra. Watch him ‘spronking’ all around the enclosure:
