How are sparklers made?

Steel wires are loaded into racks that are dipped twice into a slurry of boric acid, barium nitrate, water, corn starch, iron filings, and aluminum powder. Once they’ve baked in an oven, they’re inspected, measured, and packaged. How It’s Made: Sparklers!
