Watch more with these video collections:

Create beautiful silhouettes and textures on naturally dyed Easter eggs using cotton bandages and plant materials. This leaf silhouette tutorial on the Schnell und Einfach (Quick and Easy) YouTube channel demonstrates.

Supplies include: White or light color eggs, 2 or 3 handfuls of yellow onion skins, a large pot with water, cotton bandages, any thread made with natural materials, and a variety of sprigs.

Create other colors with shredded red beets, red onion skins, ground turmeric, chopped purple cabbage, blueberries, and dried hibiscus flowers.

Soaking the eggs in a jar of dye overnight, along with a teaspoon of vinegar, can make color more intense. Polish them with vegetable oil for shine or leave them matte.
