Transform a $20 trampoline into an amazing interactive LED light-up trampoline. The Adafruit team shows us how with the help of some NeoPixel LED strips, the Adafruit ItsyBitsy microcontroller running Circuit Python, and a vibration sensor that’s tucked into one of the elastic straps. With a 3D printed case and clips, the LED strips can be strung along the inside of the trampoline’s frame, lighting it all up everytime you jump.
Next: More awesome LED projects, including how to make LED sneakers.Plus: A Swiss freestyle skier’s acrobatic parkour training, Springboks Pronking, and the incredible jumping Sand Flea robot.
Thanks, Mike.
